Bella and crack...

Over the weekend I finished up the second pair of pink Bella Mitts my neighbor asked me to make her. A while back I did her some for her daughters. She loved them so much and had ask me to make her sister and daughter a pair for Christmas. I like them in pink.

I am very proud of how darn quick I am getting with knitting. These two pairs took me 14 days to finish. For me, I'd say that is quick. They were worked on while on the bus or driving (not me driving...I don't do that), during hockey, soccer and basketball games/practices, as well while watching off and on, after kids are in bed, the first season of Californication....holy crap what a good show. Can't wait to see season two now! If you have not seen this show and are okay with....well...........sex.........then you must see it! Must must must!!

Do you see what is beside those Bella Mitts?

Christmas Crack.

I love me a productive weekend that includes finished knitting and crack!

And a real great highlight from this weekend, as if two pairs of finished Bella Mitts and crack was not enough...

My daughters team won gold metals in their first tournament. They won all five games. What a terrific way to start the season!!!

Oh and can I say that I love this time of year. I love Christmas music and will listen to it every chance I get. I have been trying out different c.d's form the library. The Elvis one is really good!

Have a good week!

Congrats to the girls!
I've been debating on making a pair of Bella mittens.. I have some lovely pink Bernat Alpaca Naturals (or something like that) They'd be nice and toasty, but I don't think I'd be able to drive with them on.

Woo! Gold medal!!!

Oh man someone brought in Christmas crack that their mom made. I think I might need to make some.. mmmmm!

I love crappy xmas music. Every year I try to buy a new cheesey CD. My fave sofar has to be Barbra Streisand's Xmas Album. Nothing like one of the world's most famous Jews singing about Jesus! Ha ha!

Those Bella mittens look great in pink!

Oh, the Christmas Crack!! I told my husband that this year I may make it once. Last year I bet I gained 10lbs from it! :)
